1. Introduction
Welcome to HarryColes Hotels. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and services. By accessing this website and/or making a reservation, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use Harry Coles Hotels' website if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
2. Definitions
The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements:
- "Hotel," "We," "Our," and "Us" refers to Harry Coles Hotels.
- "Client," "You," and "Your" refers to the person accessing this website and accepting the Hotel's terms and conditions.
- "Party" or "Parties" refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves.
- "Booking" or "Reservation" means a confirmed arrangement to stay at the Hotel.
3. Reservations and Payments
3.1 Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once you have received a confirmation email from us. The confirmation email will contain your booking reference number and details of your reservation.
3.2 Payment Terms
To secure your reservation, we require a valid credit/debit card at the time of booking. For certain rates or promotions, full or partial prepayment may be required at the time of booking.
3.3 Rates and Charges
All rates are quoted in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Additional services such as room service, minibar, telephone calls, and other incidentals are not included in the room rate unless specifically stated.
4. Cancellation and Modification Policy
4.1 Cancellation
Cancellation policies vary depending on the rate plan and dates of your reservation. Please refer to your booking confirmation for the specific cancellation policy that applies to your reservation.
In general, for standard rate bookings, cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled arrival date may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to one night's stay.
4.2 No-Show
In the event of a no-show (when a guest does not arrive on the scheduled arrival date without prior notice), the Hotel reserves the right to charge a no-show fee equivalent to the first night's stay.
4.3 Modification
Modifications to existing reservations are subject to availability and may result in rate changes. Please contact the Hotel directly to request modifications to your reservation.
5. Check-In and Check-Out
5.1 Check-In Time
Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM. Early check-in may be available upon request but cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to an additional charge.
5.2 Check-Out Time
Standard check-out time is 12:00 PM. Late check-out may be available upon request but cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to an additional charge.
5.3 Identification
All guests are required to present a valid government-issued photo ID and a credit card at check-in. International guests must present a valid passport.
6. Hotel Rules and Regulations
6.1 Conduct
Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that does not disturb other guests or staff. The Hotel reserves the right to refuse service or accommodation to any guest who, in the opinion of the Hotel, is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who is displaying inappropriate behavior.
6.2 Smoking Policy
Harry Coles Hotels is a non-smoking property. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas, including guest rooms. Designated smoking areas are available outside the building. A cleaning fee will be charged to guests who smoke in non-smoking areas.
6.3 Pet Policy
Pets are not allowed in the Hotel, with the exception of service animals as defined by applicable laws.
6.4 Damage to Property
Guests will be held responsible for any damage caused to Hotel property during their stay and will be charged accordingly.
7. Liability
7.1 Personal Property
The Hotel is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage to guests' personal property. Safes are provided in guest rooms for the storage of valuables, and we recommend that guests use these facilities.
7.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Hotel's liability for any loss or damage suffered by a guest shall be limited to the amount paid by the guest for their stay.
8. Website Use
8.1 Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Harry Coles Hotels and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
8.2 Prohibited Uses
You may not use our website:
- In any way that breaches any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- In any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect
- To transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material
- To knowingly transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, or any other harmful programs
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, and any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
10. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our website and services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified terms and conditions.
